how?
the training
The method really is quite simple. How do we do anything new? We practice.
We believe the most effective way to learn something new is by taking a holistic approach. In other words, by incorporating theory with practice - head knowledge with lived experience. Biblically, this is called discipleship.
Evangelism is an interesting word in English because it's both a noun and a verb. It is both the message of good news and the action of sharing this good news with others.
Through our training we explore what this 'good news' is by developing a better grasp on the bible, who it tells us Jesus is and why He commands us to share it with others (Matthew 28:16-20).
We also firmly believe that we must partner with God in everything (John 15:5). As a result, prayer and Scripture are central to absolutely everything we do.
Our training is very practical and wherever we are, we always attempt to engage in evangelism and invite anyone who is interested, to join us as we do so.
Our 'style' of training is very relaxed and we love conversations and discussions the most. We don't claim to have all the answers to your questions but are willing to search for them with you.
more detail
Our training is designed to best suit your specific evangelistic needs and is adaptable in order to be better delivered to anyone who would like to receive it.
Depending on the length of time we spend with you or the specific area you would like us to focus on, our training can include some or all of the following:
-
What is the good news / the gospel?
-
The who, what, why, how and where questions regarding evangelism
-
'Calling' and evangelism
-
Discipleship and evangelism
-
Overcoming ideas that prevent us from evangelising
-
Practicing telling people the gospel eg. doing some local evangelism

These topics are all contained within our major, three theme ideas which we aim to centre our training around (see below).
They're not level or tiers but just guides to help streamline the discipleship/evangelism training process.
We also always make a big effort to incorporate a time for discussion and question asking which we find works best when food is involved. This can be a separate, stand alone event or a part of any other training you may like (see below).

"The most important daily habit we can possess
is to remind ourselves of the gospel."
Charles H. Spurgeon
