information
[ in-fer-mey-shun ]
noun
1 knowledge communicated or received concerning a particular
fact or circumstance;
2 knowledge gained through study, communication, research,
instruction, etc.; factual data

We see the information stage as having three parts:

-
Receiving information or knowledge about something helps you to form thoughts and ideas about it
-
Being informed about something and gathering information on a topic increases your knowledge of the subject area
-
When someone asks for information, you will be able to share the knowledge you have
For example:
-
I wonder what the bible says about salvation. To find this out, I will read the bible, ask questions and engage in discussions around this topic in order to determine the answer.
-
Now that I've explored this topic I feel like I have a better understanding of what the bible says about salvation.
-
When I was in work the other day and I was talking about Jesus, they asked what salvation means. I was able to give them an educated answer and felt more confident in my answer because I was simply sharing knowledge that I had recently gained.
