table talk
[ tey-buhl tawk ]
noun
1 to engage in open conversation whilst sat around a piece of
wood
2 to have friendly discussions with others whilst enjoying some
good food
Sometimes, learning and processing new ideas can make our heads feel like they're going to burst but discussing these ideas around a table of some good food can make it a bit easier.
It's also very hard to learn something if you're never given space to ask questions so we try to incorporate a relaxed Q&A as part of the Table Talk sessions where no question is off the table (literally) and we ask participants to commit to finding the answer together, using the bible as the primary point of reference.

This is a very relaxed, natural and fun way of exploring certain topics whilst maintaining intentionality throughout the discussion.
Everything—from the discussion topics to the food and the setting—can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each group who wishes to participate in a Table Talk session.

"Good food isn't just about the taste.
It's about where and with whom
you eat it."
